ARYANS are Dravidians

        From 19th century, there are extensive research on ARYANs. The term Aryan has been attributed for people ( race ), due to philological research of Dr Bopp. This famous philologist found that many of this European languages ( German, Italian, Greek, French etc ) and Sanskrit has a close affinity. ( Also all Indian languages have close affinity to Sanskrit. ).

        That provoked a thought, how Sanskrit ( which is linked to European languages ) came to India ? Only through an invasion of Sankrit speaking people. Who are they ? They are Aryans. ( As the word Arya is meant and used many times for higher ranking, higher duty etc ). A simple mechanical theory for a gigantic event in history !!

        If they came from outside, what was their ancestoral home location? Bal Gangadhar Tilak proposed the home of Aryans to be Artic. He based that on the astronomical evidence from Vedas.Gafurov says they came from Central Asia. Bongard-Levin says they were living between Deniper and Ural mountains in southeasten Europe.Max Muller who was a great believer and propogating Aryan theory, intially proposed the Europe region as their ancestoral home.

        Swami Vivekananda says " Various theories of the original home of Aryans are prepounded by scholars according to their particular fancies.There is nothing to prove that the Aryans ever came to India from outside. So also the theory that few Aryans from North India settled down in South and dominated over millions ( of Dravidians, this is my addition to make the point clear ). This is impossibility..."

       Even Max Muller, after all his research at the end concludes that Aryans are not a race. "Aryan, in scientific language, is utterly inapplicable to race....I have declared again and again that if I say Aryan, I mean neither blood nor bones nor hair nor skull...To me an ethnologist who speaks of Aryan race, Aryan blood , Aryan eye or hair is as great sinner as a linguist who speaks of dolichocephalic dictionary or brachycephalic grammer". He also mentions that all evidence of their home points Eastwards, where as none that can point to Europe or Germany or Scandinavia.

       There are no evidence for Aryan Invasion into India. There are no archealogical proof. Check on "From London came the ARYANS".

       Ok, we got all things correct so far. But yet something is not answered so far. Who are the Aryans anyway ? "Arya" is derived from root "Aer ". Aer ( ஏர் ) is the Tamil word for plough, which is related to cultivation. As the mandkind progressed , from nomadic to settlements, cutivators were regarded high in society. ( Since they had cattle, land and above all the foodstock ). Aryans are Tamil people who had migrated to North and have developed Sanskrit for religious purposes.

       Vedic scholar Aurobindo says that Tamil and Sanskrit has lot of affinity, and they might have derived from the same roots.

Has the TAMILS developed SANSKRIT ? 

    

From London came the ARYANS

   

        The most important battle in Rig Veda is the famous "Battle of the Ten Kings ( Dasarajna )". One side was Sudas, a Puru king and at other side were the Dasyu groups of Anus, Druhyus, Turvashas. Sudas at the banks of Sarasvati river has defeated the Dasyu groups and won the battle.

        This is the foundation head for Aryan invasion theory.

        The above incident ( "Battle of Ten Kings" ) and other invocations in Rig Veda are shown as evidence of Aryans winning over Dasas or Dasyus. These Dasas were later identified as the original inhabitants of India, who are Dravidians.

       Aryans are lifted to a higher class, with higher language , higher mental and physical ability thus able to subjugate the original people. Does Sudas represent any race or class of people ? Let us proceed to see other Brahmanas and Vedas.

        1. Once Sudas was gone, the children of Sudas were called Rakshasas or demons for killing the sons of   Vasishtha in Brahmanas.
        2. Bhrigus, Kavashas who were defeated by Sudas were later highly praised in Brahmanas and Upanishads.

        Such a shift in stand cannot happen if Aryans and Dasas ( Dasyus ) are racial terms. As per David Frawley they are just spiritual or religious terms, nothing to do with race or administration. In Zend Avesta ( religious book of Zorastrians or Parsis ) there are multiple battles between Asuras and Devas. ( Incidentally, the Asuras are good people and Devas are bad , as per Zend Avesta. ). By this we can not say, the Iranian people are two types, one is Asuras and other as Devas.

        "Aryan invasion", has that really happened?

        1. We still did not find any archealogical evidence ( bones, skulls, mass skeletons ) to point to that.
        2. We do not find any big cities, settlelements of Aryan race.
        Anything that can establish a historical evidence is not found.

        Aryan invasion theory is a fabrication used by British to justify their colonial rule. British had come to India as traders ( East India company ), then slowly established their rule by "divide and rule" policy. To make the native people to comply with a foreign rule,  they made a thesis that white race is superior always. It is a kind of 'you were ruled by white race ( Aryans ) before also, and now also. We ( British ) are superior'. They have used "Aryan Invasion" theory as a mind game.

So who are the ARYANS ?

From Adichanallur to Beijing and Tokyo

        The urn burial sites of Adichanallur ,in lower Tamaraparani in Tirunelveli district, was brought to light by a German Dr Jagor in 1876. The funeral furnishings here include pottery, iron implements and weapons, gold diadems and bronze ornaments and utensils, beads and household articles in stone. Sri K A Nilakanta Sastri in his lectures on topic "Sources of Indian history" says that,this grouping of gold, bronze and iron articles find close parallels to tombs at Enkomi in Cyprus and in Gaza and Gerar in Palestine.

        Also the beads of stone , crude glass and semi-precious stones may have been resemblance to the articles used by people all over south and south east Asia.

        When I see the scripts of Adichanallur sites, I can see a striking remote resemblance to the scripts of Chinese and Japanese characters. Further investigation can confirm the affinity on a larger scale.

        It goes on proving that the relationship among Tamil,Chinese, Japanese and near east people are not just a superfluous affinity, but an umblical.

Closeness of Sumerian and Dravidian civilisations

Here, we can look at some indicators that point to the closeness of Sumerian and Dravidian civilisations.

1.       City-States of Sumer ::

       Ur,Nippur, Uruk  are some independent city-states of Sumer. These have close affinity to Tamil root “Ur” (village). Another city Eridu is closely allied to Tamil root “Nadu” ( Land ). There are multiple names which can be traced to Tamil words. Here a more detailed analysis by linguistics and archaelogists is desired.

2.       City patrons ::

      Each Sumer city had a patron god ( guardian god or angel ),
      God “Enki” was the patron of city Eridu.Enril was god of Nippur and Sin of Ur.

      This again speaks of close resemblance to Dravidian culture. Many cities of Dravidian civilization had their own patrons, like Madurai and Lanka. We can see reference of Madurai in Silapathigaram.  As Kannagi cursed to burn down everything in Madurai, the patron god  appeared in front of her and asked for excusing  elders, women, children and animals. Kannagai agreed to spare them, and rest is history.

      In Ramayan too, we have similar incident. As Hanuman lands in Lanka, the patron god tries to stop him but fails at the end.

3.  Musical Instruments ::

     Old Tamil musical instrument ( "yaazh" ) has very close resemblance to the Lyres of Ur.

4. Goddess Ishtar ( Sumerian ) has lions at her feet as cohorts. This is again another striking feature of Indian goddess Durga.
     
     

5. Temples :::
     The Sumerican gods were residing in Ziggurats, which were precursors to pyramids of Egypt. This has very close resemblance to structures at Lanka. Rhys Davids mentions two of them. One in Pulasti-pura in Ceylon; and the thousand stone pillars on which another was erected in the second century B.C. at Anuradhapura. I will post another struture from my native place, Devakulam, which resembles or can be a close model of Ziggurats. I did not have permission to take photo. But definitely i will make a drawing of that and post it here.

Considering all this, we can very well say the Dravidians of ancient India migrated to Sumer, and flourished in that land. They are the people who made the civilisation, culture and language.

Origin and spread of Dravidians

By 19th century, there was a great interest in study of India, her literatures, religions and people by the westerners, especially Germans. There were two great Indologists, one is Max Muller who studied Sanskrit and compared with other Indo-European family of languages, apart from Bopp.

Another great Indologist was Rev.Robert Caldwell, who re-establised the pride and place of Dravidian languages, particularly Tamil, with respect to Sanskrit.

Rev. Robert Caldwell's book " Comparative Grammer of the Dravidian or South-Indian family of Languages" is a classic that helps to understand ethnology or linguistics of India, especially the Dravidian India. He compiled this classic, after about thirty-seven years of study of Tamil. He has compared Tamil with Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Sanskrit, Japanese, Chinese, Australian, African , Indo-European family of languages ( German, Greeke,Latin etc ) and Scythian family of languages (g Finnish, hungarian etc ).
This is what he concludes. There seem to be reason for regarding the Dravidian family of languages, not only as a link of connection between the Indo-European and Scythian groups, but-in some particulars, especially in relation to pronouns-as the best surviving representative of a period in history of human speech older than Indo-European stage, older thatn the Scythian and older than the separation of the one from the other.
To make this more simple , this is what his conclusion.

Caldwell has compared the other world languges with Dravidian languages. He has put forth his conclusions with respect to vowels, consonants, word roots, nouns, numerals, pronouns,verbs. And the simple fact is that Dravidian languages are the "mother of all languages". Dravidians spread to North, Near-East, West , Far-East and all the living parts of the world. This would have happened not at sometime we can remember, but at a time even history does not record as of yet.

He also exclaims, how remarkable that distinct affinities to the speech of the Dravidians of inter-tropical India should be discoverable in the languages of the Finns of Northern Europe, and of the Ostiaks and other Ugarians of Siberia.And, the Dravidians of India, from the evidence furnished by the Dravidian languages , in the silence of history, in the absence of ordinary probabilities, to be allied to the tribes that appear to have spread Europe before the arrival of Teutons and Hellenes, and even before the arrival of Celts. What a confirmation of the statement that ,God has made of one blood all nations of men, to dwell upon the face of the whole earth.

Again to make this simpler, the Dravidians spread to Europe , before the we can talk of Greeks, Romans, Egyptians and Persians. That means, the Dravidians, especially Tamils spread to Europe, establishing as Sumerians, Akkadians and as Egyptians.

Egyptians always refer to "the punt" as their ancestor land.This land is revered by them. Now though,  the identity of it is lost,
Swami Vivekananda says that it is the Malabar region of India.Cleopatra can trace her lineage to India !!!

Also the Ophir mentioned in Hebrew literature is the coastals of Southern India, as mentioned by Caldwell.

Dravidians spread throughout near-east world and established her civilisation, may it be Sumerian, Akkadian , Mesopotamian or Egyptian.

The history of the world is , the history of the Dravidians.
